Chadwick Boseman is from Anderson County, South Carolina, United States. His family released a press statement expressing the immeasurable grief they have with the death of their loved one.

They confirmed that Chadwick Boseman was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in 2016 and has battled with it in the last 4 years while creating some amazing films such as Avengers and Black Panther.
